What are the implications of "Heim Mei Merivas Kadeish"?

Why does the Torah write "Heim" here, whereas above in 20:13 it wrote "Heimah Mei Merivah"?

Rashi (citing Sifri Zuta) writes that the same ones rebelled at Marah, at the Yam-Suf and in Midbar Tzin. But whereas the generation that would enter Eretz Cana'an sinned in Midbar Tzin (Mei Merivah), it was the generation that left Egypt that performed the other sins?

Divrei David: The Pasuk means that Yisrael sinned through [complaining about lack of] water also in other places (but not that the same people sinned). The text should red 'Refidim' in place of 'Yam Suf.'

Perhaps this is like the opinion that Mei Merivah is the same as the episode in Refidim (Shemos 17:2,7). (Refer to Bamidbar 14:22:151:3 and the notes there), in which case it was perpetrated by mthe generation that left Egypt (PF).
