1. ... a Tanur (a single rhombus-shaped oven), has to be three Tefachim thick.

A RHOMBUS is a parallelogram with EQUAL sides (including a square). A TANUR, would be better described as a trapezoid, which only has ONE SET OF parallel sides ...which allows for the cone-shaped Tanur of yesteryear.
