Regarding Insights to Beitzah Daf 24, my question is regarding the 3rd paragraph which states that even if the nochri picked the fruit for himself it is still forbidden according to rashi. (the mishnah in shabbos daf 122a.clearly says that if a nocri lit a candle for himself that a jew may benifit from it)
While you are correct that Rashi does not hold that one would be required to wait "b'Kdei she'Yasu" in order to eat fruit that the Nochri originally picked for himself, as stated explicitly by the Korban Nesanel here (Letter Nun), the Pnei Yehoshua explains that Rashi (and most Rishonim) would agree that the fruit is considered Muktzah and therefore cannot be moved at all on Yom Tov (as is the ruling of the Shulchan Aruch O.C. 515:2).
All the best,
Yaakov Montrose
