DAF DISCUSSIONS - BERACHOS 14

Mark Shasho asked:

The Gemara tells us about why you can't interrupt between hashem elokechem and emet (because in yishaiya it writes it together).

But how about between emet and vyasiv? How do we know you can't pause in between that?

The Mishnah B'rurah in Siman 66, SK 30, writes that according to the Shulchan Aruch, one is permitted to interrupt in between 'Enes' and 've'Yatziv (like one may in the middle of a chapter).

He then cites an opinion that forbids it, because 've'Yatziv'; has same meaning as 'Emes', but he concludes that the G'ro agrees with the Shulchan Aruch.
