Am I missing something?
http://www.dafyomi.co.il/eruvin/insites/ev-dt-056.htm states:
>> This figure, however, is imprecise. The exact length, rounded to the nearest second, is 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 46 seconds. Thus, the actual year is 11 minutes longer than Shmuel calculated. In practical terms, every 128 years the equinoxes and solstices will arrive one day (11 minutes X 128) too early on Shmuel's calendar. <<
If Shmuel said it was an extra six hours, and it is really 5 hours plus, then the actual year is 11 minutes shorter than Shmuel calculated.
Shmuel calculates a longer year than the exact length.
Thanks
