Nice demonstration! However,we need "mimokom shnisrabo shamno" which makes it much more difficult to get rid of the extra "bain hoetzboayim". "kedkamtzi inshi' by "komitz" is with one hand. {i believe it was shown both hands.} also, the"avodo kosho"was with matzoh, not "kemach".

The demonstration of the "ketores" was nice. However,it fell over the sides of the hands of the rav hademonstrator. To me this was the 11th "nes" in the"bais hamikdosh", that he was able to do it at all. "Agav" according to the "yerushalmi" in the "bais sheni" he did it in the dark???? {after the mishna of how he walked in}. y'yasher kochachem v'kol tuv.

We learnt tonight that according to Rashi in Menochos when the kli is upside-down the Cohen tried to stick it to the outside of the kli.

I'm not sure you mentioned that opinion.

The Kollel replies:

(a) Thanks for pointing that out!

(b) The part with two hands was presented as "kid'Chafnei Inshi" (although I slipped and mentioned flour instead of Ketores).

(c) True, but Chafinah was done with both. In the full version, I expand on that.

(d) Caught me!

(e) Yerushalmi 5:3 says the Aron shone in the First Temple. The second had no Aron so he had to feel his way in and out. (However, since the Chafinah was done next to the coals, he could do it by the light of the embers.)

Best wishes,
