SUMMARY

1. If a Korban Pesach is brought at any time other than the afternoon of Erev Pesach, it is a Shelamim.

2. A Korban Todah was lost and a replacement was brought on the Mizbe'ach. The original Todah was then found. It is brought with no Lachmei Todah.

3. A Korban Pesach may be a lamb or a goat. A Korban Asham may be only a lamb.

4. The fat tail of a lamb brought as a Korban Pesach is brought on the Mizbe'ach.

5. A Korban Pesach which is over a year old shall be brought as a Shelamim.

6. Rebbi Shimon says that if the Kemitzah of one type of Minchah is done l'Shem another type of Minchah, it is Kosher, and the owner fulfills his obligation. It is apparent to all that it is not the type of Minchah for which he did the Kemitzah.

7. If a Chatas is brought l'Shem a person other than the owner, the Chatas is Kosher if the person is no longer alive.

8. According to the first Lashon of Rav, if a Chatas is brought l'Shem a person who is obligated to bring a Chatas Nazir or a Chatas Metzora, it is not considered she'Lo Lishmah. The Chatas is Kosher.

9. According to the second Lashon of Rav, if a Chatas is brought l'Shem a Chatas Nachshon, or l'Shem a Chatas Nazir or a Chatas Metzora, it is Pasul.

10. If a Chatas is brought l'Shem a Chatas Avodah Zarah, or if a Chatas Chelev is brought l'Shem a Chatas Dam, it is Kosher.

11. If a Chatas is brought l'Shem a person who is obligated to bring a Chatas for eating Kodesh or for entering the Mikdash in a state of Tum'ah, it is a Safek whether the Chatas is Kosher.

12. If a Korban is slaughtered Lishmah, but with the intention of sprinkling the blood she'Lo Lishmah, there is a disagreement about whether it is Kosher.

A BIT MORE

1. Since it is a Shelamim, not a Pesach, it requires Nesachim, Semichah, and the waving of the Chazeh and Shok.

2. A Korban Todah is brought with forty breads, but the offspring of a Todah, the Temurah of a Todah, and a Todah that was found after a replacement was brought, are brought on the Mizbe'ach with no bread.

3. A Korban Pesach must be a male animal in its first year.

4. However, the fat tail of a goat brought as a Korban Pesach is not brought on the Mizbe'ach.

5. A Korban Pesach which is brought before or after Pesach, or is over one year old, shall be brought as a Shelamim. Even if it is slaughtered l'Shem Olah or any other Korban, it is a Shelamim.

6. However, the Rabanan argue and maintain that if the Kemitzah was done l'Shem a different type of Minchah, the owner does not fulfill his obligation.

7. A Chatas brought l'Shem a person other than the owner is Pasul only if the person for whom it was brought is alive.

8. A Chatas Nazir and a Chatas Metzora are not brought for any sin. Therefore, they are considered a different type of Korban than a regular Chatas. If a Chatas is brought for a person who is Chayav a Korban other than a Chatas, it is Kosher.

9. A Chatas Nachson is a Chatas brought by the Nesi'im at the inauguration of the Mishkan. Since it was not brought for any sin, it is considered a different type of Korban than a regular Chatas. If a Chatas is brought l'Shem a Chatas Nachshon or l'Shem a Chatas Nazir or Metzora, it is considered to have been brought she'Lo Lishmah.

10. Since a Chatas brought for a sin of Avodah Zarah, a Chatas brought for a sin of Chelev, and a Chatas brought for a sin of Dam are brought for sins, they are considered the same type of Korban. If the intent is changed from one to the other, it is not considered to have been brought she'Lo Lishmah.

11. A Chatas brought l'Shem a different person who is Chayav a Chatas is Pasul. If it is brought l'Shem a person who is Chayav a different Korban, it is Kosher. It is a Safek if a Chatas brought for eating Kodesh or for entering the Mikdash in a state of Tum'ah is considered to be the same as a Chatas brought for other sins. On one hand, since it is brought for a sin which is punishable with Kares, perhaps it is considered the same. On the other hand, since it is sometimes an animal, a bird, or a Minchah, depending on the person's wealth, perhaps it is considered a different Korban.

12. Rebbi Yochanan maintains that it is Pasul, because she'Lo Lishmah is learned from Pigul. If someone slaughters a Korban with intent to sprinkle the blood the next day, the Korban is Pigul. Reish Lakish maintains that she'Lo Lishmah is not learned from Pigul.
