SUMMARY
1. One is not allowed to overturn a cup containing spices onto an article of clothing on Yom Tov.
2. Todus from Rome established a custom among the Jews of Rome to eat a goat on the night of the Seder.
3. The Mishnah lists three arguments in which Rebbi Eliezer ben Azaryah ruled leniently and the Chachamim ruled stringently.
4. Rebbi Eliezer ben Azaryah owned tens of thousands of cows.
5. One may not go fishing on Yom Tov.

A BIT MORE
1. This is because it causes a new smell to enter the clothing, which is prohibited due to Nolad.
2. The Sages did not approve of this custom, since people might intend it as their Pesach sacrifice, and it will be as if they are eating Kodshim outside the Azarah. However, the Sages did not excommunicate him since they knew that he was a sincerely devout Jew.
3. For example, Rebbi Eliezer says that a cow may go out with the ribbon that is between its horns. The Rabanan say that this is considered a load and is forbidden.
4. The Mishnah states that "his cow" went out on Yom Tov with a ribbon, even though his cows did not go out in this manner. Since his neighbor's cow went out in this manner and he did not protest, it was called "his" cow. (The Yerushalmi implies that Rebbi Eliezer eventually admitted that his colleagues were correct, and hence the blame for not stopping his neighbor from letting the cow out with a ribbon when it was in his power to prevent this.)
5. Even though one is permitted to slaughter on Yom Tov, one is not permitted to hunt on Yom Tov, since he could have done so on Erev Yom Tov. However, he may catch a fish, leave it in a small amount of water, and then take it out on Yom Tov and kill it in order to eat it on Yom Tov.
