SUMMARY

1. According to Rav Nachman, Rebbi Yehudah maintains that Temed (water poured on grape seeds) is considered wine if it ferments. The Rabanan maintain that Temed is not considered wine even after it ferments.

2. Temed that will eventually ferment is considered to be wine even before it ferments.

3. If one Kortov of wine or milk becomes mixed with three Lugin minus a Kortov of water and then the mixture falls into a Mikvah, it does not disqualify the Mikvah, according to the Tana Kama.

4. Rebbi Yosi ben Nuri maintains that if a Kortov of milk becomes mixed with the water and it falls into the Mikvah, it disqualifies the Mikvah.

5. If unfermented Temed is Tamei, it may be purified in the Mikvah through Hashakah.

6. According to Rebbi Meir, one who rapes or seduces a Ketanah is exempt from paying a Kenas. The Rabanan disagree.

7. According to Rebbi Meir, only a Ketanah may perform Mi'un. Rebbi Yehudah disagrees.

8. When Yom Tov falls on Friday, a shortened Teki'ah is blown prior to Shabbos, and it is followed immediately by a Teru'ah, according Rav Yehudah. Rav Asi maintains that a Teki'ah and Teru'ah are blown in one breath.

9. When Yom Tov falls on Motza'i Shabbos, at the conclusion of Havdalah we say, "ha'Mavdil Bein Kodesh l'Kodesh," according to the Tana Kama. Rebbi Dosa disagrees.

10. When Motza'i Yom Tov falls during the week, the text of the Havdalah of Shabbos is recited.

A BIT MORE

1. According to Rebbi Elazar, even the Rabanan agree that when the Temed ferments it is considered wine and it may be purchased with money of Ma'aser Sheni.

2. If it was purchased with money of Ma'aser Sheni and it subsequently fermented, the money of Ma'aser Sheni is regarded as Chulin because the fermentation process starts immediately but takes some time until it is completed.

3. If three Lugin of water fall into a Mikvah that contains less than 40 Se'ah of water, the Mikvah is disqualified. If less than three Lugin of water fall into the Mikvah, the Mikvah is not disqualified, even if the quantity that falls into the Mikvah contains a Kortov of wine or milk.

4. According to Rebbi Yochanan ben Nuri, since it has the appearance of water it disqualifies the Mikvah. However, if a Kortov of wine is mixed with it, it does not disqualify the Mikvah, since it does not have the appearance of water.

5. Water that is Tamei can be purified in a Mikvah by submerging the utensil containing the water into the Mikvah until the water in the utensil comes into contact with the water of the Mikvah.

6. According to the Rabanan, a Kenas is paid to the father of both a Ketanah and a Na'arah (a girl who is within six months from the time that she developed signs of maturity (two hairs)).

7. According to Rebbi Yehudah, a girl who was married off by her mother and brothers may perform Mi'un until she reaches the age at which her signs of maturity (hairs) appear to have multiplied.

8. The Teki'ah and Teru'ah are blown in one breath, according to Rav Asi. However, there must be a slight pause between them.

9. According to Rebbi Dosa, we say, "Bein Kodesh Chamur l'Kodesh Kal."

10. We say, "Bein Shabbos l'Chol," even though it is the middle of the week, because we are merely recounting the various Havdalos.
