SUMMARY

A BIT MORE
1. Rav Huna says that even the Chachamim, who usually permit the offspring of a Tereifah, maintain that this pigeon may not be offered as a Korban. However, the Gemara concludes with a Beraisa that says that even Rebbi Eliezer agrees that it is permitted.
2. For example, only Korbanos may be used for Temurah, and one is liable for Pigul, Nosar, and Tum'ah only for Korbanos.
3. For example, when someone declares something as Hekdesh, it becomes dedicated for regular Hekdesh, not for Korbanos. Additionally, one may dedicate anything as Hekdesh, as opposed to Korbanos which are only specific items.
4. This is derived from the verse, "And they will make for Me," implying that they receive wages from the money dedicated to Hashem.
5. Some say that if the animal or bird would be a Korban, Me'ilah does not apply to anything that comes out of them. Others say that one transgresses Me'ilah for using items that come out of them, when those items themselves may be brought on the Mizbe'ach (for example, the offspring of an animal, as opposed to its milk).
