2. This is derived from the fact that verses which discuss the future have similar wording to the verses which discuss how Eliyahu and Elisha revived the dead.
3. This is why we burn the fats of a Korban Pesach that is offered on Shabbos immediately, and we do not wait for Shabbos to end, even though it would be valid if the fats would be burned after Shabbos.
