5. Kodshim may not be eaten b'Aninus, as derived through a Kal va'Chomer from Ma'aser Sheni, which is more lenient than Kodshim and yet may not be eaten b'Aninus.

5. Three Se'irim were brought on the eighth day of the Milu'im: the Sa'ir of Nachshon, who was the first to bring the Korbanos of the Nesi'im, the Sa'ir Rosh Chodesh, and the Sa'ir for the Chatas Shemini, which was brought only on that day.

A BIT MORE

1. Aharon, Elazar, and Isamar were observing Aninus because of the death of Nadav and Avihu. According to Rebbi Nechemyah, the Chatas may not be eaten even on the following night, and therefore it was burned.

2. It would not have been burned because of Aninus, because it could have been eaten that night, according to Rebbi Yehudah and Rebbi Shimon, or it could have been eaten by Pinchas, who was not an Onen.

3. Moshe Rabeinu heard from Hashem that the Minchah may be eaten b'Aninus. However, he erred and thought that the Chatas of Rosh Chodesh also may be eaten b'Aninus. When he was corrected by Aharon, he admitted without embarrassment that he had forgotten.

4. Moshe Rabeinu heard from Hashem that the Chatas may be eaten b'Aninus the following night. However, he erred and thought that it may be eaten b'Aninus even during the day. When he was corrected by Aharon, he admitted without embarrassment that he had forgotten.

5. Only Kodshim that are brought for all generations may not be eaten b'Aninus. Kodshim brought only once, such as the Minchah of the Milu'im, may be eaten b'Aninus.

5. Of the three Se'irim, only the Sa'ir Rosh Chodesh was burned.

6. Since Pinchas was not yet a Kohen at the time of the Milu'im, he could not eat from the Sa'ir Rosh Chodesh, according to Rav Nechemyah, and instead it was burned.

7. Only Kohanim may eat from Kodshei Kodashim. Since Moshe Rabeinu took a portion from Kodshei Kodashim, he must have been a Kohen.

8. Although a Ba'al Mum may not perform the Avodah, he may eat from the Korbanos.

9. Even though a Minchah is Kodshei Kodashim, non-Kohanim may eat it when it is brought on a Bamah Ketanah. Just as non-Kohanim may do the Avodah on a Bamah Ketanah, they may also eat from the Korbanos brought there, even from Kodshei Kodashim.
