SUMMARY
1. There is a dispute about the source that a Bris performed on the eighth day overrides Shabbos. 2. The Gemara discusses why a special verse is needed to teach that Korbenos Oleh v'Yored may not be brought at night. 3. A Bris is performed even if the area to be cut off is afflicted with Tzara'as. 4. Just as a Bris overrides Shabbos only if it is performed on the eighth day, it overrides Yom Tov only if it is on the eighth day. 5. Rav Ashi teaches that a positive commandment overrides a negative commandment when they occur simultaneously.

A BIT MORE
1. Ula and Rav Yitzchak say that it is a Halachah l'Moshe mi'Sinai. Others say that it is derived from a verse. Rebbi Yochanan says that it is derived from the words, "on the day," implying even on Shabbos. 2. Some Korbanos, such as that of a woman who gives birth or that of a Metzora, are brought as an animal-offering by a rich person, and as a bird-offering by a poor person. The Gemara explains that a special verse is needed to teach that one may not offer these Korbanos at night, since one might have thought that just as they may be brought in different forms by different types of people, they may be brought at night. 3. Even though there is a Torah prohibition against cutting off Tzara'as from the body, the verse, "Yimol Besar Orlaso," teaches that one should perform the Milah even if it involves cutting off Tzara'as. Some say that this is derived from a Kal va'Chomer (see 133a). 4. The Gemara later (133a) quotes various opinions about which derivation teaches that a Bris that is not on the eighth day does not override Shabbos. 5. For example, when there is Tzara'as on the area where the Bris must be performed, one fulfills the positive commandment of Bris at the same time he cuts off the Tzara'as, which otherwise would be prohibited to do. However, the concept of "Aseh Docheh Lo Ta'aseh" cannot be applied to permit the cutting off of Tzara'as of a Kohen so that later he may perform Avodah in the Beis ha'Mikdash, because the Aseh (performing Avodah in the Beis ha'Mikdash) and the Lo Ta'aseh (cutting off Tzara'as) in this case do not occur at the same time.
