SUMMARY
1. Yerushalayim (alternate text: Bnei Yisrael) will be redeemed through the giving of charity.
2. Yosef and his brothers did not drink wine from the day he was sold until they drank together with him many years later in Mitzrayim.
3. The people of Baskar received stringent answers from Rav Menashya, even though he could have been lenient.
4. There is a difference between the law in the case of a Jew who dies on the first day of Yom Tov and one who dies on the second day of Yom Tov.
5. If a person walks in a public domain with a Talis with Tzitzis that are not put on properly, he is obligated to bring a Korban Chatas.

A BIT MORE
1. This is as the verse states, "Zion will be redeemed with justice, and those who return to it with charity."
2. This is inferred from the fact that Yosef is called a Nazir, and the extra words in the verse that says that the brothers drank "with Yosef," implying that from when he was sold until they were together none of them drank wine.
3. While the acts in question were in fact permitted, Rav Menashya did not want to be lenient because the people of Baskar would take these leniencies and apply them wrongly to other cases.
4. According to the letter of the law, if it is the first day he can be buried by Nochrim. If it is the second day he can even be buried by Jews, even if it is the second day of Rosh Hashanah. However, Rav Menashya was stringent when asked by the people of Baskar because he knew they would apply these leniencies incorrectly (see also Tosfos DH "Yom Tov" who says that we must rule stringently in this case).
5. If one does not fulfill the requirement of Tzitzis with this Talis, he is considered as though he is carrying Tzitzis in the public domain. Since the Tzitzis are important, they are not considered part of his clothing (in contrast to regular fringes that are part of a garment).
