1. A Zav and a Tahor unloaded heavy goods from a donkey. What is the Tahor now?
- Safek Tamei.
- He remains Tahor.
- Tamei.
- The Tahor may eat Terumah but the Zav may not.
- He may not even eat Chulin b'Taharah.
When is there a Gezeirah that a Tamei is Metamei Chulin from which Chalah has not been taken?
- Always.
- Only in רשות היחיד.
- In Eretz Yisrael.
- Only if he is ודאי טמא.
- If he is ספק טמא.
If a pregnant woman sees דם נדה, she is Tamei --
- למפרע from the beginning of her pregnancy.
- From 24 hours before the bleeding.
- Not טמאה at all because it is impossible for her to have דם נדה.
- Only from the time of the bleeding.
- From the birth onwards.
When is a woman considered old?
- When she can no longer stand on one leg and take off her shoe (see Chulin 24b).
- When she has missed 3 periods due to her age.
- If her friends say she is old.
- If everyone calls her Savta.
- When she cannot remember the names of her grandchildren.
Why did they rule like Rebbi Eliezer only after he died?
- Out of respect for deceased scholars.
- Only then could Rebbi Yehoshua tell people not to rule like him on all matters.
- After he died the other Chachamim decided he was right.
- Machlokes A&B.
- Machlokes A&C.
A Zav or Zavah checked only on the 1st and 7th day and found themselves Tahor.
- We rule they are Tahor for all 7 days.
- All agree that they are Tamei for all 7 days.
- Rebbi Eliezer says they are only Tahor on Day 1.
- Rebbi Yehoshua says they are Tahor.
- The Halachah follows Rebbi Akiva that only Day 7 is Tahor.
