*********************GIRSA SECTION*********************

We recommend using the textual changes suggested by the Bach and the marginal notes of the Vilna Shas. This section is devoted to any other important corrections that Acharonim have pointed out in the Gemara, Rashi and Tosfos.

[1] Rashbam 100b DH Hachi Garsinan Rabah bar bar Chanah... Tanya Nami Hachi ד"ה הכי גרסינן רבה בר בר חנה ... תניא נמי הכי:

"v'Lo Garsinan v'Shavin Ela Hachi Garsinan Ein Mevi'in" ולא גרסינן ושוין אלא הכי גרסינן אין מביאין

In the first printing, the Dibur ha'Maschil continues: "Tanya Nami Hachi, v'Shavin she'Ein Mevi'in" תניא נמי הכי' ושוין שאין מביאין which is a continuation of the words of the Gemara. The words "v'Lo Garsinan" ולא גרסינן and "Ela Hachi Garsinan" אלא הכי גרסינן do not appear in the Rashbam. Some Rishonim (Rabeinu Chananel and Rashi; see also the Mordechai in his set of Tosfos to Arvei Pesachim) are Gores, "Tanya Nami Hachi" תניא נמי הכי before the Ma'aseh with Rabah bar Rav Huna (this is also the Girsa in the manuscript brought by Dikdukei Sofrim #90). It is possible that the Rashbam intended to correct this Girsa, proposing that the Ma'aseh should precede the "Tanya Nami Hachi" תני נמי הכי (Oz v'Hadar edition of Maseches Pesachim).

[2] Tosfos 100b DH Kach Mafsikin l'Havdalah ד"ה כך מפסיקין להבדלה:

The words "Rav Is Lei Lekaman" רב אית ליה לקמן

should be "Rav d'Is Lei Lekaman" רב דאית ליה לקמן (Oz v'Hadar edition of Maseches Pesachim)

(Esther 7:8). In our Gemara, Rebbi Yosi b'Rebbi utilizes this verse to mean, "will you shame me in my presence?"
