FOOTNOTES:
==========
(1) That is, two Matanos that are four; the Kohen pours the Dam from the utensil onto the north-eastern and south-western corners of the Mizbe'ach (thus reaching all four sides of the Mizbe'ach), below the Chut ha'Sikra that surrounds the Mizbe'ach at a height of six Amos from the ground.
(2) The blood of the Chatas is sprinkled with the finger (and not poured from a utensil), above the Chut Sikra, and on each of the four corners of the Mizbe'ach.
(3) That is, the Kohen pours the Dam on the Mizbe'ach anywhere above the Yesod (protruding, bottom Amah that surrounds most of the Mizbe'ach), and the blood drips down to the Yesod.
(4) This applies to all Olos and Shelamim except for those that are Korbenos Tzibur, which do not require Semichah (Menachos 61a).
(5) The Asham of a Metzora is an exception, as it *does* require Tenufah before Shechitah (Menachos 61a).
(6) For the Shelamim of an individual (as opposed to the Tzibur), the Chazeh, Shok (thigh), and Eimurim of the animal are waved. The Shelamim of the Tzibur (i.e. Kivsei Atzeres) are waved first while alive, before Shechitah, and then are waved a second time after the Shechitah in the same manner as the Shelamim of an individual (Menachos 61a).
