THE LAW OF STUMIM (Yerushalmi Perek 4 Halachah 4 Daf 18b)

(R. Ba citing Rav): [There is a Halachah of] Ma'os Stumim [they go to Nedavah], but there is no Halachah of a Stumah animal (for Korbanos Nezirus, and it was not designated for any particular Korban).

... However, [perhaps] one is Yotzei through a Korban [bought with] coins that his father separated for a light [Aveirah] for a severe [Aveirah], or from severe for light, or from light for light, or from severe for severe, for one is Megale'ach on [his father's] coins for Nezirus, when they are Stumos

Rejection: "Korbano" - he is Yotzei through his [own] Korban, and he is not Yotzei through his father's Korban.

Inference: [Only] regarding coins, it mentions 'Stumos', [but not regarding animals, for the law of Stumos does not apply to them].

An animal does not have the law of Stumah at the beginning, but it has the law of Stumah at the end. Coins have the law of Stumos at the beginning, but they do not have the law of Stumos at the end.

Coins have the law of Stumos at the beginning - our Mishnah teaches that if she had Ma'os Stumim, they go to Nedavah;

An animal does not have the law of Stumah at the beginning - a Mishnah teaches that R. Shimon ben Gamliel says, if a man brought three animals and did not specify [the one Kosher for the Chatas is offered for the Chatas...]

Coins do not have the law of Stumos at the end - a Beraisa teaches that [if one said] 'these are for my Chatas, and the rest are for the rest of my Nezirus', and he died, Me'ilah applies to all of them, and Me'ilah does not apply to part of them;

An animal has the law of Stumos at the end, when he brought coins and profaned them on an animal.

If one separated a donkey (which cannot ever get Kedushas ha'Guf), this is like separating coins;

If one separated a bull (which is Kosher for other Korbanos, but not for Korbanos Nazir), R. Yosi bei R. Bun and R. Chiyah bar Lulaini [argued about this]. One said that this is like separating coins, and one said that this is like separating an animal.
