(Mishnah): The poor man may not harvest Peah with scythes nor tear it up with spades, so that one poor man will not strike another (with them).

The owner appears {Avayos} in his field three times a day, so that the poor may take Peah - morning, midday and towards evening.

(Rabban Gamliel): These times were given as a minimum.

(R. Akiva): They were said as a maximum.
