(Mishnah): Mishnah Rishonah said that one is liable only if he drinks a quarter Log of wine.

They used to expound "Shechar" - just like Shechar said there (for Bi'as Mikdash) is a Revi'is, also here it is a Revi'is.

They retracted to say "Lo Yochal... Lo Yishteh" - just like Achilah is a k'Zayis, also drinking is a k'Zayis.

(Mishnah - R. Akiva): Even if he soaked his bread in wine and he ate a k'Zayis, he is liable.

(R. Chananyah): This is if he soaked it in a k'Zayis of (pure, undiluted) wine.

(R. Imi citing R. Yochanan): A cup of mixed (diluted) wine, one is lashed for it due to Mishreh.

Question: It says "v'Chol Mishras Anavim Lo Yishteh." This teaches only Mishras Anavim. What is the source for soaked Chartzanim?

Answer: It could have said Mishras. Rather, it says "v'Chol Mishras", to include all soaked (Isurei Nazir) for Mishreh.

Question: Mishras Yayin (something soaked in wine) and wine join. Mishras Anavim and grapes join. Does Mishras Anavim join with wine?

Answer: If one ate a half-k'Zayis of wine and a half-k'Zayis of: Mishreh [of grapes], he is liable. If he ate each by itself, he is exempt. The joining obligates him;

If one ate a k'Zayis of wine and a k'Zayis of: Mishreh (water in which grapes were soaked), he is liable only once (it is like one Achilah). If he ate each by itself, he is liable twice.
