(1) As the RASHASH points out, RASHI (DH v'Lo Sochi'ach, based on the words of the Gemara) arranges the verse differently, placing "Ervas Avicha" before "Ervas Imcha." In the verse itself, "Imcha" is mentioned first.

(2) This verse teaches the prohibition against relations with one's maternal brother's wife (Rashi DH Ervas Achicha). The verse adds the word "Hi" ("she remains") to emphasize that the wife of one's maternal brother does not become permitted through Yibum if her husband dies childless. (This verse implies that having relations with one's maternal brother's wife is punishable with Malkus. As for whether the punishments of Kares and Ariri apply, see Tosfos to Yevamos 2a, DH Eshes Achiv, and Insights to Yevamos 55:1.)
