Why did the Satan say to strike "b'Chol Asher Lo"?

1.

Malbim: This will test if his virtue is due to good itself, or due to reward or punishment. You must strike all that he has - if not, he will fear to rebel, lest You take the remnant!

What is the meaning of "Im Lo Al Panecha Yevarecheka?

1.

Rashi: Surely he will curse you immediately!

2.

Devar Eliyahu: "Panecha" is like 'we say part of a man's praise b'Fanav, and all of it not b'Fanav.' B'Fanav is second person; not b'Fanav is third person. Most Tefilos are in the third person, for one does not address the king in second person. Iyov will blaspheme so greatly, even in second person!

3.

Malbim: Not only will he cease his virtue - also due to Panecha and Your Hashgachah, he will curse and demean Your conduct. He thinks that due to his fear, he deserves wealth. If he loses his wealth, he will blame it on bad conduct, and say that You are not a righteous judge.
