Radak: They will find grace in My eyes, and I will save them from the Goyim who come against them. The matter is repeated in different words to strengthen it.

Radak citing Targum Yonasan: A Ru'ach of Chesed and mercy.

Radak citing his father: He will have grace in everyone's eyes, and your supplications will be accepted in front of Me.

Malbim: Via [the death of Mashi'ach ben Yosef], they will seek Hashem with supplications, and attain grace from him. If Mashi'ach Hashem, who was in His shade, fell in war, they will be aroused in Teshuvah and Tefilah.

Rashi: They will mourn over those whom the nations killed during the Galus.

Malbim: They will understand that he died due to the sin of the generation. It is as if they stabbed him via their sins. They will look to Hashem to return to him.

Rashi: Those who were killed.

Rashi: Like one eulogizes over his only son. Radak ? it said that Hashem will shield over them (8)! It mentioned the high levels that elevate them. How will the Goyim be able to stab someone in war, even a commoner? It is so severe, for it is the beginning of Yisrael being humbled in front of their enemies. So Yehoshua was humbled when Anshei Ai killed [one man, who was equal to] 36 men (Yehoshua 7:7-8).
