What is the meaning of "Yifresu"?

1.

Rashi: It is an expression of breaking, like "Menei Menei Tekel u'Farsin" (Daniel 5:25). We are Mavreh (give the mourner his first meal) in the square, and Pores for him Birkas ha'Motzi. The Targum of "Hu Yevarech ha'Zevach" (Shmuel I, 9:13) is 'Hu Paris Al Mezona.'

2.

Radak: It is as if it is written with a Sin, like "Persah Tziyon b'Yadeha" (Eichah 1:17). This is spreading the hands in Aveilus, and clapping the palms. They will not spread or wound due to the dead, and not be consoled from the living.

3.

Malbim: Also, they will not engage in needs of the mourners. We normally feed them Seudas Havra'ah from others' food, and break the loaf into two.

2)

All the verses were in the plural. Why does it say "Lenachamo" and "Aviv v'al Imo" (singular)?

1.

Radak, Targum Yonasan: Every individual [will not receive the cup of consolation] over his father and mother.

3)

Why did Hashem say "v'Lo Yashku Osam

1.

Malbim: It will not be given to assuage his pain, even over his father or mother.
