Radak: He mocked them - call in a loud voice! Perhaps he will hear you if he is sleeping or on the road!

Malbim: G-d is not limited to one place that would obligate calling in a loud voice, and does not overlook things or get tired or not know. Your god has physical limitations. (a) Perhaps he has human limitations - things are hidden from him, because he is speaking or thinking about something else. (b) Perhaps he has limitations that apply [also] to animals - he went elsewhere. (c) Perhaps he has limitations that apply even to vegetation - he is sleeping. The mockery was to descend from human to vegetative. Had he spoken seriously, he would have reversed the order.

Torah ha'Temimah: He knew about Chi'el's scheme (refer to 18:26:5:1). He suggested that Chi'el is not making the fire because he is sleeping.

Rashi citing Targum Yonasan: You say that it is G-d.

Rashi: Perhaps he is speaking with his counselors now.

Radak: He is speaking with others now, therefore he does not turn to you.

Rashi: Perhaps he is pursuing [enemies] in war. Radak - Sig is from the root Nasig.

Radak citing Targum Yonasan: He became weak.

Malbim: He has Hasagah (thoughts); he is thinking about something else.

Rashi: He is going to the privy.

Radak: He went on the road to engage in his affairs.

Radak: It is the Yud of the [future] conjugation. The Yud of the root is omitted.
