What is the meaning of "Arye Toref b'Dei Gorosav"?
Rashi citing Targum Yonasan: Its kings used to bring must spoils, that were enough for their households.
Radak: It tears enough to suffice for its cubs. B'Dei is like "Dei Hashiv Lo" (Vayikra 25:28). Its cubs are a Mashal for children.
Malbim: How was this great cruelty, that the lion tore its cubs (the king killed his small children)?
What is the significance of "u'Mechanek l'Liv'osav"?
Rashi: It chokes animals for Liv'osav, i.e. increases storehouses for his children 1 .
Radak: All this is a Mashal for the kings, officers and leaders of Ninveh - they brought spoils of nations to Ninveh. Liv'osav is a Mashal for esteemed mistresses.
Malbim: The king commanded to choke his wives. The smoke choked them.
Lavi is an adult female lion. What is the source that he increases for his children? Perhaps 'increases storehouses for his children' explains the previous words "b'Dei Gorosav" or the coming words "va'Ymalei Teref Chorav." (PF)
What do we learn from "va'Ymalei Teref Chorav [u'Me'onosav Terefah]"?

Malbim: Teref (masculine) refers to killing his cubs. Chorav hints that they lived in small dwelling. Terefah (feminine) refers to killing his wives. They lived in Me'onos (big dwellings).
