What do we learn from "Otem Azno mi'Za'akas Dal"?

1.

R. Yonah: This is Midah k'Neged Midah. This Oni screamed and no one answered him. Also "he will call and not be answered"! Therefore one must not harden his heart from giving to an Oni who requests from him, even if he gave to many Aniyim.

2.

Malbim: Dal is one who became poor from his property. Usually this is via oppression and robbery. A judge who closes his ear and does not save him while he has the ability, his punishment will be to be oppressed, and "he will call and not be answered." This is both in Shamayim's judgments, Midah k'Neged Midah 1 , and in earthly judgment. Just like he did not do judgment, he will be crushed in the gate and no one will save him.

Shabbos 55a. A case occurred in which a woman was screaming [that no one is judging her case.] Shmuel ignored her. His Talmid Rav Yehudah asked, does our verse not apply?! Tosfos (Bava Basra 10b) - due to this episode, Rav Yehudah became the Rebbi of Shmuel in the world to come.
