Where were the Iyei ha'Avarim situated?
Rashi: They were situated on the east side of Mo'av.
What is "Nachal Zared"?
Da'as Zekenim, Hadar Zekenim (in Pasuk 10) and Moshav Zekenim: Refer to 21:12:151:3 and note.
Targum Onkelos: It is the valley or stream of Zared.
Targum Yonasan: It is a valley where various kinds of herbs grow. 1

Why here, does the Torah say that after Iyei ha'Avarim, they went to Nachal Zared, whereaas later, in 33:45-47, it says that their next encampments were in Divon Gad and Almon Divlasaymah?
Ibn Ezra: Nachal Zared is also called Divon Gad.
Ramban (33:41): The places listed below are in Nachal Zared.
Da'as Zekenim, Hadar Zekenim (on Pasuk 10) and Moshav Zekenim (on Pasuk 11): Later, the Torah gives the names of the places. Here it gives the names of the rivers or streams 1 , since it is about to discuss the Well (of Miriam).
Hadar Zekenim: It is called "Nachal Zared" (R. Bechayei (Bereishis 36:39) - 'Daled' and 'Tav' are interchangeable), since it was only as wide as a Zeres (half an Amah), and B'nei Yisrael were forbidden to cross it for thirty-eight years. See Devarim 2:14.
