Who is "Iy Naki" who escapes?

1.

Rashi: This is Ein Naki, just like "Iy Chavod" is Ein Kavod, and "ul'Rozenim Ei Shechar" - Ein Shechar (wine is not proper for them). One who is not clean will be saved in [the merit of] "the purity of your hands." Divrei Eliyahu - this is a higher level, to save even the unworthy! We find so with Moshe and R. Shimon.

2.

Rashi: I heard in the name of R. Yakov, it is one who dwells in pain and Anakah (moaning). The Yud is extra, like "ha'Yoshevi ba'Shamayim."

3.

Ibn Ezra #1: Some say that this is Ish Naki; the Shin is omitted 1 .

4.

Ibn Ezra #2: Hashem saves Shach Einayim (29), and also Iy (island) Naki. This is like "Yoshev ha'Iy ha'Zeh." This is the opposite of "Eretz Ki Secheta Li" (everyone is stricken).

5.

Malbim: These are unclean thoughts. One must expel them from his thoughts, and be Shach Einayim (not lift his eyes towards worldly matters).

1

Ibn Ezra: This is difficult.

2)

Why does it say "v'Nimlat b'Vor Kapecha"?

1.

Rashi: Refer to 22:30:1:1.

2.

Devar Eliyahu: This is an amazing level, to save the entire world! He can say, I can exempt the entire world [from punishment]! Kapecha is full with a Yud, to teach both hands, [corresponding to] Mitzvos Ase and Lavim.

3.

Malbim: He must expel unclean thoughts, and also his deeds must be pure.
