What is "k'Chesef"?

1.

Rashi: It is suddenly.

2.

R. Yonah: It is a Chayah (beast) that is Chotef (snatches).

3.

Malbim: It is a robber.

2)

Why does it say "Af Hi k'Chesef Te'erov"?

1.

R. Yonah: Even though the Nochriyah is not as evil as the Zonah, also she is like an ambushing beast. Man does not know until it kills suddenly. One does not put to his mind that he will stumble with a Nochriyah, since she is not a Zonah; suddenly, he stumbles with her.

2.

Malbim: A Zonah ambushes like a robber. She seizes suddenly one whom her heart desires, and traps him in her net. Had he put to his heart, he would beware from her, lest she snatch him suddenly.

3)

What is the meaning of "u'Vogedim b'Adam Tosif"?

1.

Rashi: She increases in Yisrael those who betray Hashem.

2.

R. Yonah: A man straight in nature, he will be transformed to a traitor due to her, for the Yetzer [for] a woman overpowers his nature of straightness. This is why it says Tosif. Boged is the opposite of Yashar.

3.

Malbim: A Nochriyah (heresy) increases traitors in man, for it proposes claims of heresy and denial to trap many to betray Hashem.
