What do we learn from "Ki Sheva Yipol Tzadik va'Kam [u'Rsha'im Yikashelu v'Ra'ah]"?
Sanhedrin 7a: A peaceable person will be saved from seven pits, and a Rasha will fall in the first.
R. Yonah: This is like David said "Rabos Ra'os Tzadik umi'Kulam Yatzilenu Hashem; Shomer Kol Atzmosav Achas me'Henah Lo Nishbarah" (Tehilim 34:20-21).
Malbim: Even if a Tzadik falls seven times, he rises with Hashem's help. Resha'im stumble in the evil that they prepare for the Tzadik; they fall and do not rise.
What do we learn from "u'Rsha'im Yikashelu v'Ra'ah"?
R. Yonah: They stumble in one evil. Due to one occurrence (mishap), they do not rise. And so David said "Temoses Rasha Ra'ah" (Tehilim 34:22) - one evil kills him. He will not be saved from it. People say, the ox fell, sharpen the [Shechitah] knife' (Shabbos 32a).
