Radak: Both in my life and after death.

Malbim: I give to no importance to all worldly matters, and I do not pray about such afflictions. They expanded my heart (verse 17)! However, for the Klal, I ask You to redeem them from all their afflictions, for not everyone is at the level to despair from all worldly matters and not feel afflictions and poverty.
