What do we learn from "Lo Yada Enosh Erkah"?

Malbim: There are two shortcomings of attaining Chochmah not found in attaining precious metals. (a) Everyone knows the value and need of precious metals. Gold and silver enable one to fulfill his needs. People do not know the value of Chochmah, so they do not seek it at all. (b) Refer to 28:13:2:2.

Why is it not found in "Eretz ha'Chayim"?

Rashi (from Sanhedrin 111a): This refers to one who sustains himself [nicely]. Rather, it is in one who kills himself for it, with toil and hunger.

Malbim: It is in the intellectual world; its honor is in Shamayim.
