What is the meaning of "Noked"?

1.

Rashi citing Targum Yonasan: He had [many] flocks. Radak - he is called Noked because usually, Tzon (sheep and goats) have Nekudos (spots). Malbim - he had flocks in order to pay this tax.

2)

What are "Karim"?

1.

Targum Yonasan: They are bulls.

2.

Rashi (Yechezkel 27:21 1 ): They are lambs.

1

Rashi explained the word in Yechezkel. It seems that he explains so also here, for he wrote that Yonason translates 'bulls' also here. (PF)

3)

What are "Eilim Tzamer"?

1.

Targum Yonasan: They are grazing rams. Rashi - he gave them with their wool. Radak - i.e. he did not shear them.

2.

Abarvenel: All of them (i.e. also the Charim 1 ) were with their wool.

1

Presumably, he holds like Rashi, that Charim are lambs (refer to 3:4:1.5:2). (PF)

4)

When would he give this amount?

1.

Radak: The verse does not say if it was every year, or for a set period known to them.
