"P'kod Kol B'chor Zachar mi'Ben Chodesh va'Ma'alah". Why did the Torah need to insert both "B'chor and Zachar"?

Rashi (on the Beraisa of R. Yishmael): This teaches us K'lal sh'u Tzarich li'Ferat u'Ferat she'Hu Tzarich li'Chelal' - Had the Torah written "B'chor (K'lal) and not "Zachar" (P'rat), we would have incorporated every Peter Rechem - even females; 1 Whereas had it written "Zachar"and not "B'chor", we would have incorporated all males - even not Pitrei Rechem. 2
