Radak: Since your hands were not tied, how did you not strike him back? Since your legs were not fettered, how did you not flee?

Malbim #1: You were not killed like one who is executed for a sin; they fetter his hands and feet until the final verdict.

Malbim #2: Your hands were not tied through the Yetzer ha'Ra's ropes, to stop you from doing Tzedakah and Chesed. Your legs were not fettered from doing justice and straightness. Rather, you died to atone for the generation.

Radak: It means ki'Nfol Naval. Even though it does not say Naval here, it refers to Naval in the previous verse. Many verses are like this.

Malbim #1: You were not executed. They killed you in the way of ambush and murder.

Malbim #2: Tzadikim often die so they will not see the afflictions of the generation [soon to come].

Malbim (32): First they cried over the murder. This obligates Kaparah for the land. This is why Eglah Arufah is brought!
