Malbim (Derech ha'Muskal): They go in the way of the Mitzvos.

Malbim (Derech ha'Pashut): This begins a Mashal about Alkum, the slave who became king. He was not a Gibor, nor a man of strategies who knows to trick the nation with his guile. Rather, he was like a male goat that goes at the head of a herd of females. So he overpowered via his wife, for he was her husband.
