What does the verse teach?

1.

Rashi: If Hashem wanted to destroy a person, He does not need a pretext. Immediately He can gather in his Ru'ach and Neshamah. They are His - He blew them into man. No one can protest against Him!

Ibn Ezra: If Hashem would put His heart to man, like "v'Chi Sashis Elav Libecha 1 ", immediately his Ru'ach would be gathered - "veha'Ru'ach Tashuv."

Ibn Ezra (15): Some explain, if man would put his heart to Hashem 2 [he would die].

Ramban (7:17): Should You put Your heart to punish man [for his sins?! Sin does not harm You!] Seforno (ibid.) - if You would rise against man...

Ibn Ezra: This is difficult.
