"ve'Ito Ohali'av ben Achisamach le'Mateh Dan". What is the significance of the fact hat Betzalel was from Yehudah and Ohali'av, from Dan?
R. Bachye (citing a Midrash): Both tribes are compared to a lion 1 - as is the Beis-Hamikdash 2 3
In Bereishis 49:9 and Devarim 33:22, respectively.
R. Bachye: which was wide n ffront and narrow at the back ? like a lion. See Midos 4:7.
R. Bachye: It was also destroyed by Nevuchadnetzer, whom the Navi compares to a lion ? in Yirmiyah 4:7, and will be compared to a lion at the time of the Salvation, as the Navi writes in Michah 5:7 "Vehayah She'eris Ya'akov be'Kerev Goyim Rabim ke'Aryeh be'Veheimos Ya'ar".
If Betzalel made everything, why does the Torah mention Oholi'av?
