Devar Eliyahu: The Neshamah and Ru'ach are lost from this world and the world to come.

Malbim: Via Nishmas Eloka, they are totally lost from the world. Via Ru'ach Apo, no remembrance of them remains. Such loss does not occur to Tzadik and Naki.
