Why is Yo'av called "Avi Gei Charashim"?

1.

'Rashi': He was the officer of the valley in which carpenters dwelled.

Radak: The people of that valley descended from him. Charashim are craftsmen who work with stone, wood and iron.

In Nechemyah (11:35), Gei Charashim is considered part of Binyamin!

Malbim: In his days, people of Binyamin dwelled there.
