How often was the Ketores burned during the eight days of the Milu'im?
Rashi: Twice daily, in the morning and in the afternoon. 1
As the Pasuk specified in 30:7 (Rashi).
"Vaya'al ha'Neiros Lifnei Hasheem (Pasuk 25) ? Vayakter alav Ketores Samim". Who lit the Menorah and burned the Ketores on the eighth day of the Milu'im?
Ramban and R. Bachye: Even though he was not specifically commanded to burn the Ketores, 1 Moshe understood that he should, from the Avodos that he was commanded to perform. 2 3 4 And it was only once Aharon and his sons subsequently began performing the Avodah - after the eighth day of the Milu'im - that burning the Ketores and lighting the Menorah were confined to the Kohanim (who were decendents of Aharon). 5
Ramban: See Pasuk 5. As a matter of fact, he was not commanded to bring the Korbanos either - only to arrange the loaves on the Shulchan and to kindle the Menorah - See Pasuk 4.
Refer to 40:27:1:1*. Ramban: In fact, Moshe also lit the Menorah and burned the Ketores during the Shiv'as Y'mei ha'Milu'im - even though it is not mentioned.
R. Bachye and Ramban: In fact. Moshe was the first Kohen. R. Bachye: Indeed, the Pasuk in Tehilim 99:6 "Moshe ve'Aharon be'Kohanav", specifically refers to him as a Kohen, as the Gemara points out in Zevachim 102a.
Refer also to 40:29:2:2**.
Ramban: As the Pasuk specifically stated in 30:7 & 8.
