How will Hashem cease wars until the end of the land?

Rashi: All nations will be b'Shalom with us.

Radak: That war will end all wars. All who remain will recognize that Hashem's hand [defeated the enemy], and they will return to serve Hashem - "v'Hayah Hashem l'Melech Al Kol ha'Aretz" (Zecharyah 14:9).

Malbim: The author now addresses the tyrant that agitates kingdoms and destroys, via wars, until the end of the land. I tell you

Why does it say "Keshes Yeshaber"?

1.

Radak #1: They will see that Hashem will break the bow of Gog and Magog and cut their spears - "v'Hikeisi Kashtecha" (Yechezkel 39:3).

2.

Radak #2: From that day and onwards Hashem will break bows and cut spears. I.e. wars will cease - "v'Chitesu Charvosam l'Itim va'Chanisoheihem l'Mazmeros Lo Yisa Goy El Goy Cherev" (Yeshayah 2:4).

Malbim: His bow will be broken, for he is no longer needed to be the staff of Hashem's anger - He Himself will go out with His legions to destroy. He has other Sheluchim!

What wagons will they burn?

1.

Rashi: The war chariots. Radak #2 - "Esh v'Gafris Amtir Alav v'Al Agafav" (Yechezkel 38:22).

Radak #1: This is a metaphor for Hashem's anger.
