I will leave them desolate. Since I will not tend it, "Shamir v'Shayis" will come on it. The Nimshal is, even though I removed My Shemirah from them, and the Goyim will consume them, and most of them, i.e. the 10 tribes, were exiled from their land, I will not benefit those who remain. I will not send My Brachah to increase and multiply, the way people cut branches to increase Peros.
Malbim: I will not cut thick branches that weaken the vine.

It is an expression of "Tisa'eha Shemamah" (below, 6:11). No one seeks it to enter it, and amidst this, worms come on it.
Rashi (7) #1: The Yetzer ha'Ra ruled over [Adam]. People will not learn from him good deeds.
Rashi (7) #2, from Targum Yonasan: It is being moved around and abandoned, similar to Shamir v'Shayis of a vineyard.
Radak: This means that their deeds will be cursed - "veha'Mistaker Mistaker El Tzror Nakuv" (Chagai 1:6; one who profits in commerce, or hires out himself or his animal, it will be cursed, as if he put [the coins] in a garment with a hole at the bottom - they fall out).
