What do we learn from "Ayeles Ahavim v'Ya'alas Chen"?

1.

Eruvin 54b: Divrei Torah are compared to a female deer. It is always as dear to its mate as at the beginning. Likewise, Divrei Torah are always as dear to one who learns, every time he reviews his learning, as at the beginning. "V'Ya'alas Chen" - Torah gives grace [and honor] to those who learn it (Maharsha - even though they often neglect their food and appearance).

2.

Malbim: Ayalah and Ya'aleh both live on divided mountains and rocks. Their womb is narrow - "ha'Yadata Es Ledes Ya'alei Sala Cholel Ayalos Tishmor" (Iyov 39:1; when it is ready to give birth, I send a snake to bite it, causing the womb to open more). The Ayalah arouses love, and the Ya'aleh Chen. The supreme Chachmah is compared to them. They run quickly on mountains. So Chachmah comes from a high place above, and it quickly makes wise and arouses love and grace.

What do we learn from "Dadeha Yeravucha b'Chol Es"?

1.

Eruvin 54b: Just like a baby always finds more milk in the breast, so too, whenever one ponders Torah, he finds Ta'am (reasons).

2.

Malbim: This corresponds to v'Ya'alas Chen. The breasts arouse Chen at the time of intimacy.

3.

Malbim (according to Melitzah): When you will be intimate with Chachmah, to beget Chidushim, its breasts will satiate you to find Chidushim.

What is the meaning of "[b'Ahavasah] Tishgeh [Samid]"?

1.

Rashi citing R. Moshe ha'Darshan: You will engage constantly. Tishgeh is Arabic. A proof is 'Levakesh Shegiyah 1 ' - to seek engagement.

2.

Rashi citing Eruvin 54b: Amidst love for Torah, you will be Shogeg (forgetful) of your affairs. [Torah] will guard your [property]. R. Elazar ben Pedas would expound in the lower market, and his garment was in the upper market. Once, a man came [to steal it]. He found a snake on it [to stop him].

3.

Mesilas Yesharim (Perek 19): Deveikus is clinging so much to Hashem, that he veers from turning to and overseeing anything else.

4.

Malbim: This corresponds to Ayeles Ahavim. It arouses love always, even not at the time of intimacy.

5.

Malbim (according to Melitzah): Also when you do not find Chidushim, you will engage in it to review the first understandings that you already attained.

Rashi: I do not know where this was taught.
