Who are "Leva'im" (lions)?
Rashi (from Yerushalmi Pe'ah 1:1): Avner and Amasa, who were lions (awesome) in Torah, and they do not protest against Sha'ul.
Radak: Yisraelim who pursue David. It says "b'Soch", even though he flees them, for it is as if he is among them. He could not distance from Eretz Yisrael, rather, he goes, returns and hides.
What is the meaning of "Eshkevah Lohatim"?
Rashi: I lie among Zifim, who are fervent to do evil to me. Radak - "b'Soch" mentioned above applies to this. Also "[u'Chevodi l'Acher Lo Eten] u'Sehilasi la'Pesilim" (Yeshayah 42:8; "Lo" applies also to the latter words) and similar verses.
Radak: "Lohatim" teaches that it is as if they burn with the words that leave their mouths; they slander me to Sha'ul.
Radak (citing Yerushalmi Pe'ah 1:1): These are Do'eg and Achitofel, who were fervent to speak Leshon ha'Ra.
Why are their teeth and tongues like weapons?
Radak: They use them to slander me to Sha'ul. Teeth and the tongue are used to articulate some of the letters.
Radak (citing Yerushalmi Pe'ah 1:1): The teeth of Anshei Ke'ilah are spears and arrows - "ha'Yasgiru Va'alei Ke'ilah Osi... b'Yad Sha'ul va'Yomer Hashem ha'Yasgiru" (Shmuel I, 23:12). The tongue of Zifim is a sharp sword - "b'Vo ha'Zifim va'Yomeru l'Sha'ul" (54:2).
