Seforno: From the time the Flood began (on the seventeenth of the second month) until the seventeenth of the seventh month (a hundred and fifty days, 1 ) the turbulence of the water caused the Ark to rise, 2 until it was higher than the tallest mountain, when it began to move. On that day, the turbulence ceased and the Ark rested on Mount Ararat.
