Why is its fruit better than gold?

1.

Malbim: "Pri" includes all fruit, also what is not finished. Precisely, Tevu'ah refers to [the five] species of grain, when it is finished. It is proper to sell it to different countries. Pri is stored in the same country. Gold is stored in storehouses. As opposed to it, Chachmah's fruit is better than gold.

Why is its Tevu'ah better than Kesef?

1.

Malbim: Kesef is used to buy and sell. So Binah, understanding a matter amidst another matter, is compared to Kesef. Also it is used for business! If the fruits of Chachmah are finished in one's Da'as to the point of becoming Tevu'ah, then he contemplates in it Binah and produces new [understanding]. This is like Kesef, which is used to buy other things. Chachmah's Tevu'ah is better, for one acquires with it dear, eternal matters.
