Ta'anis 7a: Anyone who engages in Torah Lishmah, it becomes for him an elixir of life.

Malbim: One who finds me (Chachmah) when the door opens, he finds life, both of the Nefesh and the body, and "va'Yafek Ratzon me'Hashem" (Hashem is pleased with him).
