How do we know that Hashem agreed?
1.
Rashi: He accepted our Tefilah; we came to Yerushalayim in Shalom.
2.
Ibn Ezra: He told us via a Navi or dream that He agreed to guide us in the straight path, without a stumbling block.
3.
Malbim: It was like R. Chanina ben Dosa - he prayed for Cholim. If his Tefilah was fluent in his mouth, he knew that it was accepted (and if not, not - Berachos 34b).
